HOLIDAY FARMERS MARKET
TBA, Ashe County Farmers Market, Backstreet, West Jefferson
Find holiday arrangements, ornaments, wreaths, garland, wooden deer, trees, bowls and other woodworking art. We also have leather, jewelry, alpaca fiber items, pottery, jewelry, 3D critters, art, fishing lures and pressed flowers. We also have honey, molasses and maple syrup, baked goodies, fresh roasted coffee, spices and CBD products. Eggs, potatoes, apples, and lettuces.

Start your Christmas off with us in West Jefferson at our official tree lighting at 5:30pm of the community Christmas tree.
Those 3 Guys will start music off at 5:00pm. Yes, Santa will be there! Great fun for the whole family!

SUNRISE AT THE SWINGING BRIDGE
TBA, 6:30am, Grandfather Mountain, Linville
Enjoy the rare opportunity to visit Grandfather Mountain outside of regular operating hours and see a sunrise from the top of the mountain. Sunrise is at 7:14 a.m. Nov. 25, 2023, and park gates open at 6:15 a.m. Book online.

WATAUGA COUNTY FARMERS MARKET
TBA, 9-12pm, Horn in the West, Boone
Up to 65 vendors offer quality locally farmed produce and plants, as well as locally made crafts and edibles. Regular cooking demos and live music, as well as a children's corner. 

HOLIDAY MARKET
TBA, 10-4pm, Buckeye Recreation Center, Beech Mountain
Admission is FREE. Enjoy browsing booths of a variety of local vendors and craftsmen to discover that perfect item to fill your holiday shopping list. Enjoy the display of the Parade of Wreaths. Mrs. Claus will be attending, with games and activities.

THANKSGIVING WOOD KILN OPENING
TBA, Bolick Pottery, Lenoir
Be present at 10am to watch us unload the wood kiln, then make your selection. Face jugs by Michael Calhoun and Lula Owens Bolick, Santa jugs, Monday/Friday jugs, Wizards, Clay Spirits, and more. Work by Janet Bolick Calhoun, Glenn Bolick, Ina Owens Bolick and Guest Potters Kaylee Eggers and Ten Hands Pottery. Sales cabin will be stocked with functional wares as well as snowman lanterns, christmas trees, hand sculpted nativities and more.

SATURDAY’S WITH SANTA AT THE BLOWING ROCK

Enjoy a special visit with Santa &Mrs. Claus and enjoy the winter views. Free admission for all childre and accompanying adult.

CHETOLA RESORT FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
Daily, November 25-January, Blowing Rock
Chetola Resort becomes a Winter Wonderland with over 50,000 dazzling lights around Chetola lake. Free to public
