No stranger to the Jones House and the oldtime music scene, Joshua White plays banjo with some of the area's favorite string bands, such as The Heel Raisers and Ruby Goose. Audiences can expect a healthy dose of traditional Appalachian-style tunes, with plenty of opportunities to clap, stomp, and sing along.
Also a photographer, visual artist, and art professor, Joshua's work will be on display in the Mazie Jones Gallery for the concert, and all throughout the month of November. A free gallery reception will be held on Friday, November 1 from 5-7 p.m. as a part of Downtown Boone's First Friday Art Crawl.
