JOSHUA WHITE Sunday, November 3 Concert at 4pm ($5 ticket, RSVP required) (Free gallery reception Friday, November 1 from 5-7pm) No stranger to the Jones House and the oldtime music scene, Joshua White plays banjo with some of the area's favorite string bands, such as The Heel Raisers and Ruby Goose. Audiences can expect a healthy dose of traditional Appalachian-style tunes, with plenty of opportunities to clap, stomp, and sing along. Also a photographer, visual artist, and art professor, Joshua's work will be on display in the Mazie Jones Gallery for the concert, and all throughout the month of November. A free gallery reception will be held on Friday, November 1 from 5-7 p.m. as a part of Downtown Boone's First Friday Art Crawl. https://www.joshuawhiteart.com/ INDOOR CONCERTS AT THE JONES HOUSE: Only 40 seats are available Advanced reservation/payment is required Doors open 30 minutes prior to the show Workshops are free, but require pre-registration.
