  • Skiing & Snowboarding: featuring 125 acres of ski terrain with 21 slopes and 8 lifts- Sugar Mountain Resort meets the ski needs of your entire family.  Ski and snowboarding lessons are available for ages 5 and up and equipment rentals are available on site.   • Snow Tubing: glide down 700ft runs and return via a magic carpet (the laziest, funnest winter "sport"!)  Ages 3-6 need to ride down with an adult.  Find more details and reserve your two-hour session online HERE

  • Snowshoeing: when weather permits, take a one-hour guided snowshoe tour around Sugar Mountain. Tours are for ages 8 and up.  Call ahead to make sure weather conditions are appropriate for this activitiy.  For more details, click HERE

• Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster
  The High Country's newest attraction is located across the road from Sugar Mountain Resort. Ride down the mountain solo at speeds over 25 mph for an invigorating winter experience! Open seven days a week for those 38 inches tall and up.  Find details HERE

• Sugar Creek Mining Company
  Find gems in every bucket when you sluce in the outdoor flumes at Sugar Creek Mining Company.  After you have found all the gemstones in your bucket, get some help identifying your precious stones.  You can even have your favorites polished and set for wearing on-site.  Find details HERE

• Sugar Mountain Resort New Year's Eve Celebration
  December 31st: 9pm-1am
  The general public is invited, free of charge to an alpine torch light parade at 11:45 p.m. and the fireworks show at midnight. Make reservations for the indoor festivities from 9:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. featuring live music by The Rockabilly’s. Click HERE
