Public Goft and Tennis Courses

Sugar Mountain's public courses are a great way to enjoy the spring buds and blooms while you breath in the fresh mountain air.

SUGAR MOUNTAIN MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE

The course is an 18-hole course located on 60 acres.  Know for being one of the most beautiful golf courses in the region, the course has amazing mountain views, native flowers and babbling brooks.

SUGAR MOUNTAIN PUBLIC TENNIS COURTS
*Opening Mid-May

The six tennis courts at Sugar Mountain have gained the reputation of being the best. Why?  The public courts feature fast Har-tru green clay, the world's leading clay court surface.  The courts also have the best views of any courts in the region.

Al Fresco Dining

Do you want to experience the thrill of prospecting for your very own North Carolina Gemstones? Then try your hand at sluicing in the outdoor flume, where you are guaranteed to find precious gemstones in every bucket.

WILDERNESS RUN ALPINE COASTER

The High Country's newest attraction is located next door to the gem mine. Ride down the mountain solo or with a family member/friend at speeds over 25 mph for an invigorating experience!
