Enjoy this indoor, climate-controlled Americana Show with Matthew Weaver and Clay Lunsford. Clay Lunsford is an amazing instrumentalist and vocalist from Union Grove, North Carolina, and throughout his musical career, he has performed over 10,000 shows. For 50 years, Clay has performed throughout the southeast entertaining thousands of people with his unique style of thumb picking, He is well known for performing the feat of playing Yankee Doodle and Dixie at the same time with his thumb pick! He will be joined by Matthew Weaver, a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and songwriter and six time winner of Pianist-Instrumentalist of the Year for the North Carolina Folk Festival. Matthew plays 19 different instruments and has appeared on stages from The Grand Ole Opry, Dollywood, bluegrass and mountain music festivals and numerous churches. He is the 2013 recipient of the North Carolina Bascom Lamar Lunsford Music Award, and is the pianist for the Gospel Voices Band and The Return of the Legends Show. Matthew is a 2013 graduate of Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina.
