Bluegrass and Brass - A Fourth of July Dazzle The Mountain Home Bluegrass Boys and King Street Brass Blowing Rock School Auditorium 7:00PM, Tuesday, July 4, 2017 The Mountain Home Bluegrass Boys have been a main-stay with JSMHM for many years. The King Street Brass is fronted by Harold McKinney and includes former members of the ASU faculty's music program. The joining of these two musical styles, Bluegrass and Brass, allows for a moving tribute as they play the anthems of each branch of our US military. In addition they will wow you with some stand-alone numbers in their respective styles, like the bluegrass favorite, "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" and the brass band standard, "When the Saints Go Marching In" - plus they'll mix it up with exciting combinations. NOTE THE EARLY STARTING TIME You'll still have time for fireworks!
