Come by the farm year-round to shop or take a tour and meet the animals. You can see all of our animal friends only by joining one of the regularly scheduled public tours or by booking a private or group tour in advance.
The guided walking tour is offered year-round and starts at the horse barn, winding around the farm to visit the main barns and animal sheds. Tour guides share all about what makes our farm so special. We are home to a variety of animals, and nearly every one of them has a story to tell! Our farm is hilly,so wear comfortable shoes and plan accordingly. Don't forget to bring a camera!

Sugar Plum Farm
A 100 acres Choose & Cut Tree Farm, Sugar Plum Farm is worth the drive! Learn the production of Christmas trees, choose small or large Christmas trees and visit the gift shop. The gift shop features many hand-crafted tree ornaments made by mountain people. Other amenities include tours, hayrides, catered food, hiking and Santa visits.
Cornett Deal Christmas Tree Farm
Choose & Cut farm open Thanksgiving weekend and the following weekend. Trees up to 11 ft, wreaths, hayrides, refreshments, tree shaker, tree drill machine, stands & local crafts.
Watauga County Christmas Tree Association
The Watauga County Christmas Tree Association assists Christmas Tree farmers in Watauga County with promoting their farms and provides growers with educational information to continually increase awareness of the many aspects affecting Fraser Fir production.
Swinging Bridge Blueberry & Christmas Tree Farm Tour
Take a walking Tour of a working Christmas tree farm! The 70 minute tour includes local history, a 3/4 mile hike, shearing demonstration, 48 foot long suspension bridge, blueberry operation, views of Grandfather, Snake and Elk Knob Mountains, passive solar, geothermal and hydro-powered energy orangery.
