Horn in the West Boone NC Shows will be Thursday through Saturday, 6 p.m. This year, the show will occur at the Hickory Ridge History Museum cabins while the Daniel Boone Amphitheatre is undergoing renovations to prepare for a spectacular 2026 season, celebrating 250 years of independence in America. Get ready for an exciting trip back in time, to the 18th Century North Carolina high country before and during the Revolutionary War when the 13 colonies threw off British rule to establish the United States of America. Since 1952, Horn in the West has offered thrilling outdoor entertainment to generations of Americans. Loved by young and old alike, Horn in the West is located in the heart of Boone, North Carolina in the Daniel Boone Park.
