Bring your mask and get ready for an exciting trip back in time, to the 18th Century North Carolina high country before and during the Revolutionary War when the 13 colonies threw off British rule to establish the United States of America. Since 1952, Horn in the West has offered thrilling outdoor entertainment to generations of Americans. Loved by young and old alike, Horn in the West is located in the heart of Boone, North Carolina in the Daniel Boone Park. We are proceeding with our 2021 season carefully for a safe and exciting time for our guests. MASKS ARE MANDATORY at all locations in the Daniel Boone Park and Amphitheater, except at your seat while eating or drinking. The performance runs Tuesdays through Sundays at 8:00pm. The house gates open at 7:30.

These events are free and open to the public. Guests are invited to bring an acoustic instrument to participate in the jams or listen and observe the fiddle tunes and folk songs in a close-up and casual environment. Each week, various musicians from the local community, as well as visitors, gather throughout the Jones House. After catching up and choosing a key, the music begins until the "last call for tunes" comes around 9:45.
