Moses Cone Manor Demonstration- Weaving Sandy Adair will be demonstrating how she creates her large mountain landscapes on a tapestry loom. This demonstration will be held on the front porch of the the Moses Cone Manor from 10am-4pm. Visitors are encouraged to watch and ask questions while the demonstrators work and talk about their creative process!

The Taste of Things Film Set in France in 1889, the film follows the life of Dodin Bouffant (Benoit Magimel) as a chef living with his personal cook and lover Eugenie (Juliette Binoche). They share a long history of gastronomy and love but Eugenie refuses to marry Dodin, so the food lover decides to do something he has never done before: cook for her.

Moses Cone Manor Demonstration- Pottery Glazing John Turner will be demonstrating his innovative glazing techniques, as well as discussing how he fires his wheel-thrown pots in a raku kiln. The Rosen Sculpture Competition & Exhibition is a national, juried competition presented annually by the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts. To celebrate the 33nd anniversary of this inspiring installation, join competition juror(s) on an educational outdoor tour of the ten selected pieces from this years competition. The tour concludes at the Schaefer Center with an awards reception. An additional work of sculpture will be installed at the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum.

Todd Summer Concert The Lucky Strikes 2024 The free, family-friendly concerts are held in Cook Memorial Park in historic downtown Todd NC. All concerts are held on Saturday evenings from 6-8:00 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Large tents will be set up to protect concert goers from sun or rain.
