- Beech Mountain Sledding Hill
Nov 25-Feb (weather permitting) M-F: 1-5pm; Holidays & Weekends: 9am-5pm

- Oh, Christmas Tree!

Mystery Hill would like to welcome everyone to the first gathering of our Christmas light show. On November 27th as soon as dusk hits we will gather for hot chocolate and light up our property in awe.Every day until the first of the new year we will have our lights running for everyone to come to see! This will be a free event for everyone to come and enjoy with your family!
Held in Memorial Park, this event features visits with Santa, games & activities for children, hayrides and more

- Wilkesboro NC Christmas Parade
The 2020 Christmas Parade that will be a “reverse” parade (participants park and spectators drive by). The placement will be Independent Ave. to Wilkesboro Blvd., across the Yadkin River Bridge to Main Street Wilkesboro.
- Banner Elk Christmas in the Park
Visit Tate-Evans park in downtown Banner Elk and enjoy a luminary lit train-ride, Santa’s workshop and more.

The downtown night parade in downtown Banner Elk is truly magical as the marching band, floats and more
- Boone NC Drive-Thru Christmas Parade
December 12: 11-1pm
Enjoy the beauty and spirit of the holiday season with your family within the comfort & care of your car! Parade floats & entertainers will be set up in the Watauga Community Recreation Center (WCRC) parking lot for your drive-thru experience.
- Santa Comes to Beech Mountain

Join us in the lobby of the 4 Seasons at Beech Hotel, 608 Beech Mountain Parkway to meet Santa Claus!
An Appalachian Christmas at the 1903 Dougherty House
December 16-24, 6pm
No visit with Santa is complete without a good story, and this year the big man in red is thrilled to share with you some tales of his favorite child in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Jack.During the Holiday season, we’re offering complimentary cider, hot cocoa, and cookies to all 1903 Dougherty House visitors. Santa and Mrs. Claus are waiting upstairs to read Appalachian Christmas stories to all the good little boys and girls.This family-friendly event is free of charge from Dec 16th-24th
- Beech Mountain Christmas Parade
December 23: 4-6pm
Join us for our first ever Beech Mountain Christmas Parade! The parade will go from the Beech Mountain Ski Resort up to the Beech Mountain Sled Hill. Be sure to arrive at a spot to watch the parade by 3:45pm. When the parade ends at the top of the mountain join us on the kite field for photos with santa, bonfires, game/activities, and more!
