    Come to the Downtown West Jefferson NC Christmas 2018 annual holiday parade! Local bands, dance groups, churches, businesses, fire/rescue trucks, police cars & more participate in the parade each year.– And of course, Santa will be there to welcome in the holiday season. Following the parade, watch the Grinch flip the switch to light up the town!

    Watch the official lighting of the West Jefferson NC Christmas 2018 tree.  Stay for awhile and visit Santa, join carolers, sip hot chocolate, and ride on the 1947 fire truck with your family and friends.

    Come to the West Jefferson NC Christmas 2017 Holiday Farmer’s Market and find unique gifts and holiday decorations.   • Two on Tap Holiday Show
    Nov 29: 7:30pm- 9:30pm
    Get ready for a toe-tapping, music filled night to kick off the holiday season! Two on Tap brings audiences back in time to an era when couples like Fred and Ginger and Mickey and Judy filled the silver screen with undeniable chemistry, effortless harmony and precision tap dancing.   • Saturday with Santa & Tree Fest Open House
    December 1: 8:30am- 11:30am
    Come visit the Ashe County Arts Council in Historic Downtown West Jefferson and see eight thematically decorated Christmas trees and miniatures art exhibit. Holiday gift shop with
    locally-made art and crafts onsite as well. A special part of the open house will be a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Santa will be available for photos and Mrs. Claus’ kitchen with stories, arts and crafts and milk and cookies. Each child will get a book and a holiday gift bag.
