Sparta, North Carolina is only a 1/25 hour drive from Winston Salem or a 2 hour drive from Greensboro, North Carolina! The area has rolling hills full of Christmas Trees to get you in the holiday spirit.
Sparta Holiday Market
November 18, 10-2pm @ Crouse Park
Hosted by the Alleghany Farmers Market at Crouse Park, the Sparta Holiday Market will be the perfect place to find fresh breads and sides for Thanksgiving Dinner and homemade soaps and knit items for Christmas gifts!
Sparta Hometown Christmas Parade & Santa Pictures
November 25th, 2pm @ Main Street
Homemade floats, marching band, old cars, Boy & Girl Scouts, fire trucks, horseback riders and others parade down Main Street in this traditional small-town event. Bring your own blankets and chairs to set up along the parade route.
