With determination (and a bullhorn), a crotchety, old retiree is on a mission to save the loons of Lake Winnipesaukee. His summer expectations are thwarted by a brash, townie teenager hired to clean the house next door. While the two initially grate on each other, they gradually form a unique intergenerational bond. This heart-warming show is an often humorous, and sometimes poignant tale of two individuals learning to take back control of their lives.

Film Overview:
North Carolina is a fast-growing state and a national leader in business as well as agriculture. Meanwhile, amid these success stories, hunger persists in all areas of the state. Food insecurity, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, affects residents from urban tech hubs to the remote areas of the mountains and coast. Resilience is a film that explores the challenge of food access in North Carolina and how everyday heroes are working to strengthen food system resilience in local communities.
In this film, viewers will learn about farmers who are working to strengthen their local food systems and hear from local leaders who are working to help their communities have better access to healthy food. The film shows the work of volunteers who strive to make sure food gets into the hands and homes of those who are in need and shares a message of hope from organizations that have found innovative ways to give residents better access to quality food. Resilience sheds light on a topic that is not well known in the state but that affects many of its residents. It shows the work being done to find a path to food security for all.

OUR SATURDAY KIDS THEATER SERIES) A play filled with charm and energetic humor. Creative storytelling drives the action and the actors, and the audience partners in the tales. Two bumbling actors try to present a few of the world's most beloved fairy tales. Unfortunately, their script becomes seriously scrambled and they perform "Goldisocks and the Three Wolves," "The Three Billy Trolls Gruff," and "The Three Little Bears." It takes the help of the whole audience to set the stories straight.
