St. Patrick's Day 2020 events for Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, West Jefferson & Beech Mountain
- Shamrock Showdown Tomahawk Tournament at Tomahawk Hill
March 14, 9am-6pm, Mystery Hill, Blowing Rock
Tomahawks thrown from 9am-5pm during a one hour session ($19.99 per person) or two-hour group session ($29.95 per person, min 8 ppl in your group) on March 14, are eligible. The top eight are invited to participate in the championship play-off at 5pm. The Shamrock Showdown Champion will win a Family Vortex Annual Pass valued at $240 and a Tomahawk Hill T-Shirt.

Cead Mile Failte! That means 100,000 welcomes in Gaelic! We invite all members of the community to join us as we turn Boone green for the day. Come celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Boone

March 17, 11am, Buckeye Recreation Center, Beech Mountain
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day by going green! Join us for a guided hike on the Falls Trail. Meet at Buckeye at 11am. Please call with any questions 828-387-3003.
- Sensational Shamrock Party
March 21, 5pm, Copper Barrel Distillery, Wilkesboro
You're cordially invited to Copper Barrel's first ever Shinesational Shamrock Party. We'll have green drink specials and plenty of Irish inspired dishes that St. Paddy himself would be proud to dine on. The menu will include items such as a hearty shepherd's pie made with lamb, corned beef & cabbage and a good ol' fashioned Irish stew.
