ABOUT:

The Brushy Mountain Apple Festival in downtown North Wilkesboro NC is one of the largest one-day arts & crafts festivals in the southeast!  The festival features over 400 arts & crafts booths, over 100 food vendors, 4 different music stages featuring Bluegrass, Blues, Country and Folk Music, dancers and more!  --And of course you will find lots of apples, apple cider, apple pies, dried apples, apple butter and anything else you can think to make from delicious fall apples!  For a detailed entertainment schedule CLICK HERE

TIPS:

• Dress in layers, the weather can change quickly in the mountains
• With so much shopping, you can accumulate many bags!  Bring a backpack or rolling cart to carry your purchases in.
• Stay in Wilkesboro for the weekend and visit a local moonshine distillery while you are in town.  Call Family Distillery features old stills and moonshine running cars!
• The most newly renovated hotel in the area is the Holiday Inn Express Wilkesboro.
