The fun never stops at Beech Mountain! From Land of Oz Tours to the Mile High Kite Festival- there is an event or festival for everyone!  Here is a list of Beech Mountain Events and Festivals 2022:

• HOPPY EASTER PARTY

• GUIDED HIKES AND INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS

• FAMILY FUN MONTH
  June- Daily, Beech Mountain
  30 days of family activities, plus discount lodging specials like buy three nights, get a fourth night free. When was the last time your family enjoyed a hike together, played in a creek, rode mountain bikes, or watched a movie under the stars? Details HERE
  
• BEECH MOUNTAIN 4th of JULY FAMILY CELEBRATION

  Run in the Sparkler 5K at 10am and stay for the FREE bounce houses, yard games, face painting, food and fun for the whole family in the Beech Mountain Kite Field from 11am-2pm.

• 49th ANNUAL BEECH MOUNTAIN NC ROASTING of the HOG 
  July 4th
  Enjoy pork, smoked turkey and all the fixin's. Fireworks at dark! 
  
  
• MILE HIGH KITE FESTIVAL
  Sept 3-4, 10-4, Town Meadow
  Located at more than 5,000 feet in elevation, the high-altitude meadow makes it easy for children of all ages to sail their kites up to a mile above sea level. The festival includes kite-flying music and demonstrations by the Wings Across Carolina Kiting and Okra Society of Charlotte and the Richmond Air Force Kite Club from Virginia. Prizes will be awarded for the biggest kite, smallest kite and best decorated kite.  Other activities include races with kids pulling parachute kites, face painting, and a variety of craft and food vendors.
  
  
• HALLOWEEN PARTY & TRAIL or TREAT

  Buckeye Recreation Center, Beech Mountain
  Zombies are everywhere! Stock up on candy from our trail or treat and then head out on the haunted trail.

• BEECH MOUNTAIN HOLIDAY MARKET

  Get a jump start on holiday arts and crafts at the Holiday Market held at Buckeye Recreation Center. Start your holiday shopping with locally made crafts, jewelry, food and art. Door prizes and a bake-off will also get you in the holiday spirit!  For more information, CLICK HERE

• Beech Mountain Christmas Parade & Festival

  Join us for our first ever Christmas Parade! The parade will go from the Beech Mountain Ski Resort up to the Beech Mountain Sled Hill. Be sure to arrive at a spot to watch the parade by 3:45pm. When the parade ends at the top of the mountain join us on the kite field for photos with santa, bonfires, game/activities, and more! Questions? Please call us at 828-387-3003. Masks are required when unable to maintain a 6ft distance from others.

• Santa Comes to Beech Mountain

  Join us in the lobby of the 4 Seasons at Beech Hotel, 608 Beech Mountain Parkway, from 2-4pm to meet Santa Claus! Tell him what you want for Christmas and take photos of Santa with your family.
