  • TOWN of BOONE NC 4th of JULY CELEBRATION

  • 50th ANNUAL BEECH MOUNTAIN NC ROASTING of the HOG

  • BEECH MOUNTAIN 4th of JULY FAMILY CELEBRATION
    July 4th, 2021
    Run in the Sparkler 5K at 10am and stay for the FREE bounce houses, yard games, face painting, food and fun for the whole family in the Beech Mountain Kite Field from 11am-2pm.

    This unique parade by Elkland Art Center is a walk-in parade. Everyone is invited to bring costumes and decorations to the parade.  Life-sized puppets are a highlight every year.

  • ASHE COUNTY ANNUAL 4th OF JULY FIREWORKS
    July 4th, 2021
    Held at 368 Ray Hill Drive - West Jefferson. The show will begin at approximately 9:30 pm on Sunday, July 4, 2021.  We will have local law enforcement, fire departments, rescue squad, and parks & rec staff on hand to assist with the traffic and parking.  The list of available parking lots include: Ashe County High School, Old Lowes Foods, Wal-Mart, Lowes Hardware, State Farm Insurance, Ashe Civic Center, Skybest Security (Mt. Jefferson Road), Skyline National Bank, Goodwill, Auto Zone, Steve Johnson Auto World, Lifestore Bank (Mt.     Live music from Alex Key and The Locksmiths starts around 6PM at the Yadkin Valley Marketplace downtown, followed by Silvio Martinat's Swing Band, an emergency vehicle parade at 8PM and super fireworks display at dark.

  • SPARTA INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS
    Parade: July 3rd, 2021 2pm - Fireworks: July 4th at Dark
    This small mountain town loves a parade and just about everyone from the town and surrounding communities line up along Main Street to watch the color guard, floats, fire trucks, old cars and marchers. Fireworks in the park.

 

  • CROSSNORE FOURTH CELEBRATION
    July 2nd 2021 4pm
    Hotdogs will be served at the fire deparment starting at 4pm.  Parade will start at 5pm and go from the elementary school to the meeting house.  At 5:45, veterans will be honored at the meeting house, followed by a kids frog jumping competition and live music until dark. Firworks at dark-thirty!

 

  • NEWLAND INDEPENDENCE DAY FESTIVAL
    July 3rd, 2021 10am-Dark 
    Parade begins at 11.  Live music, craft and food vendors, old-fashioned contests and more at Riverwalk Park and Bandstand. Fireworks at dark!

 

  • FIREWORKS AT SUGAR MOUNTAIN
    July 4th, 2021
    Fireworks begin around 9:00 p.m. The Summit Express chairlift runs until 10:00 p.m. for mountain-top fireworks viewing. Musical performance at the base lodge from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and food and beverages are available.
