Beppe Gambetta Jones House Concert, Downtown Boone https://www.beppegambetta.com/ Workshop at 1pm "How to be creative with Flatpicking. From Doc Watson’s legacy to different traditions" In this masterclass we will show examples of techniques from different musical traditions and how we can use them to open doors to creativity in arranging, adapting and composing with the guitar. There is a common thread of passion and poetic expression in the techniques developed in the roots music of different cultural areas. By moving along and tying this thread in different ways, we can discover unexplored parts of our creativity. We will show melodies with different aesthetics and how to practice the art of choosing, transforming and combining the different elements. INDOOR CONCERTS AT THE JONES HOUSE: $20 per person Only 40 seats are available Advanced reservation/payment is required Doors open 30 minutes prior to the show Workshops are free, but require pre-registration.
