Grandfather Mountain “Secret Season” winter pass - November 1 to April 30

Grandfather Mountain’s “secret season” pass, good November 1 through April 30, is a very affordable way to experience the grandure of Grandfather Mountain without the crush of summer crowds. Be rewarded not only with the sensation of standing on top of the world, but also with the sensation of having it all to yourself!

Count the birds on the feeders outside the windows of Grandfather’s Nature Museum restaurant, look for wildlife by tracking footprints in the snow, and stand transfixed by endless vistas made clear by winter’s chill.

Passes are $25 for adults and $15 for children ages 4 to 12. The group pass admits six people traveling in the same vehicle and sells for $65, so it pays for itself on the very first visit!
